0 The Face shop nail polish in PK 105

I have always heard rave reviews about The Faceshop's (a Korean brand) from colleagues and friends but haven got about trying one on until one day when I went into The Faceshop with my friend.

It was first love for this color when I swatched this color on my nails. It's a beautiful magenta fuschia color with a blue duochrome finish to it. And for the price I paid for it, it is definitely very very value for money.

And not to mention I love The Faceshop's top coat too. It gives a more shiny finish than my OPI topcoat for half the price :):)

And as usual, I m horrible with nail painting as I'm not very stable with my hands...so would like to apologise for the uneven nail painting yeah...

And last but not least, I know this is a bit late... Happy new year to all! :)

0 The Face Shop color shimmer lipstick in PK103

Had nothing to do, so was goin through my lipstick drawer to see what lipsticks I had which I didn't wore in a long time and rediscovered this color which I bought quite a long time ago. I had worn this a few times, but soon after forgotten about this after getting new lipstick colors. So on a whim, I decided to wear this color again and re ignite my love for this color

Texture:
1.  Has a very smooth creamy and moisturizing texture. Feels somewhat like MAC's cremesheen lipsticks but less slippery than the cremesheen lipsticks

Color payoff:
1. A rose pink with very subtle golden shimmers with a slight glossy finish and medium coverage

Lasting power:
1. Average..... Matte lipsticks are still the longest lasting of all, but i don't really like them as sometimes they can be a tad too dry for my lips which are prone to dryness and flakiness.

Sorry about the flakes  on my lips in this pic. When this pic was taken, my lip happened not to be in its best condition and it's definitely on the dry side....

In general, this is one of those few blue toned pinks which I can get away without wearing much make up. (I cannot wear most pinks without makeup, they look somewhat weird on my yellowish skin) Would repurchase if I ever finish, but I highly doubt so as I have other lippies to finish as well...

2 The Faceshop Raspberry Roots sleeping mask

For the benefit of those babes who are not living in asia, The Faceshop is a popular Korean beauty brand sold in most parts of Asia. It is known mostly for their wide range of sheet masks and their most famous skincare product - the Raspberry roots sleeping mask

P/S  This pic is taken from another website and wasn't taken by me. I am too lazy to take a photo of mine :X .... Many apologies.

I love the raspberry roots sleeping mask and this is my 2nd bottle. However, I prefer the packagin of the first bottle. Stupid me still cannot figure how to make the pump of this new bottle work to pump out the contents. Looks like i gotta go back to the shop to ask for help :x

Key Ingredients: Soybean extra, Sesame seed extract, Rice bran extract, sunflower seed extract, Castor oil, Raspberry root extract

Benefits: Himalayan Raspberry roots and grain extracts optimize elasticity and tighten pores while thoroughly hydrating and replenishing skin of lost nutrients. Additions of plant extracts promotion natural secretion of pleasure inducing beta endorphins and stimulate the forumlation of collagen for more youthful skin

Comment: Yep yep, it really works. After leaving the mask on overnight, my skin feels much smoother and firmer the next day and highly plumped and hydrated. Although it says it's a sleeping mask, it doesn't feel like your typical mask at all. It feels very comfortable and lightweight on the skin. It also has a very nice light scent to it. Would totally repurchase this again. However, I wished they would change back to the old packaging.
