0 Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss in #56 Imaginaire & #51 Insouciance

Pardon me for not knowing French. I don't know how to translate the above names in English, So I shall just type their names out as according to the name on the packaging. Ever since I bought my first chanel gloss, I fell in love with its texture and color, So I caved in and bought another 2 and I am now loving all 3 of my Chanel glosses.

Below are pics and swatches of the latest 2 Chanel glosses which I acquired.

#56 Imaginaire

Love love love #56 Imaginaire on me. It's the perfect pink gloss to wear for everyday. All I need is just to apply some loose powder, pink blush and and this gloss and I'm ready to go. It keeps me looking fresh. Texture is great, color is Awesome, I can't help keep touching up this lipgloss wheneveri wear this. I love this color!

#51 Insouciance

May look a bit dull in the tube or when swatched. But when worn, it actually leaves a very nice hint of brownish pink on the lips - none too dark and none too light. Great for everyday wear especially when I'm not wearing any trace of make up on the face. Reminds me a bit of MAC's delight cremesheen glass, just that this has a bit more brown undertones to it. Great texture, finish and color. Loving this too. Will definitely purchase more Chanel glosses in the near future.

As with my last post on my last review of another chanel lipgloss, I wish these two came in transparent packaging. I don't like the packagin cause it's in a black opaque tube and I cannot see how much is left.

Ok that kinda wraps up my blog posts for this week. Will be updating my blog in 5 days time which is my next off day. Cause usually on my non off day, I'm just too tired to update. So for now, this is it. Adios!

As with the other 2 chanel blushes that i own, the texture of these two blushers are also very finely milled and blends into the skin very well. If you love blushers that gives a natural flush to the face without being overly pigmented, you will love chanel blushers. However, if u are love blushers that are more pigmented. you may find their blushers to be pretty sheer.

#99 Rose Petal: True to its name, it gives a very nice natural rosy pink flush to the cheeks. Neither too shimmery nor too matte. It gives just the slightest hint of sheen to the face. Suitable for all skintones

Tweed Coral: I love the tweed pattern of how it looks in the pan with peach, pink and golden tones all interlinked in one. It also gives a very nice peachy flush to the face. Definitely more pigmented than #54 Fresque. Would appear more on fair to medium skin toned ladies though

0 Chanel Jouse contraste blushers

After hearing so much so much raves about Chanel's blushers from my friend who's also a make up junkie like, I decided to splurge on 2 as a start first. I bought the jouse contraste series (Sorry, I don't know the English translation for it, I only type as what is written on the packaging) in #58 fresque and #82 reflex

In general, the textures of the two jouse contraste blushers I bought are smooth and very fine and blends very nicely into the skin. My only gripe with them is that they don't long last as long on me as my MAC blushers and tend to fade off quite quickly which I don't have this problem with my MAC blushers.

#58 Fresque is a very light peachy pink blush which in my opinion will only appear on fairer skinned ladies. Even on my NC20 skin, I had to swipe a few times before the color appeared on my face, but it does give a very nice, sweet and fresh peachy pink glow to skin. Very natural and subtle.

#82 Reflex reminds me somewhat of MAC's peachykeen or sunbasque blush which suits most skintones and gives more of a sunkissed healthy glow to the face. If u like the sunkissed look, you'd probably like #82 Reflex better.

I would buy Chanel's blushers again as I like the colors and  textures of the above 2 that I have but I only wish that the blushers stayed on longer on me, and my cheek area is dry by the way so I don't see why the blushers doesn't stay on me as long as my MAC ones.

0 Chanel ROUGE ALLURE EXTRAIT DE GLOSS in #54 Liberte

One of my friends who is a fan of lip products had been raving to me about Chanel's lip products for a long long time, but I didn't care for lip products so I didn't get it any only recently. So what made me buy it? Hmm. I would say this is more of an impulse buy ya, but when i did like the color of it in the tube and when i tested it on my hand.

It seems like as with other brands, Chanel has a few range of glosses too. The one that I bought belongs to the Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss range (Pure Shine Intense Color Long Wear Lip Gloss). On Chanel's website, this range is described as

- offer the shine of a gloss and the colour intensity of a lipstick.
- presence of very finely ground mother-of-pearl helps intensify colour and light reflection with no pearly effect.
-  Shea butter and a canola oil derivative provide a sensation of well-being, while a Vitamin E derivative protects the lips.
My Review of #54 Liberte (Sorry I don't know french so i can't translate the name into English :X)

Pros:
- Love the lightweight and moisturising texture of this gloss
- Gives a very nice glossy peachy pink finish to the lips (It's the perfect natural peachy pink on me)
- Non sticky
- I love the applicator that comes with it. Very soft and deposits the right amount of product onto the lips
- Generous amount of product = 10.8g to be exact

Cons:
- Er as with most glosses, it has to be touched up now and then. Well, this is to be expected of all glosses anway, If you do not want to touch up often, go for lipstick
- Not very pigmented (Not much of an issue for me - I can either go sheer or pigmented for lipcolors)
- Opaque packaging - I HATE the opaque packaging. I CANNOT see how much is left in the tube. I wish they made the tube transparent
- Pricey (not much of an issue for me as long as the quality is there)

Conclusion? Would repurchase this again, as it's really moisturizing on my lips and deposits just the right amount of color on my lips. It's the kinda product that i would wear on both my "no make up days" and "make up days".
